Privacy Policy

No personal data is processed in this phase. This document is placeholder copy and must be replaced before launch.
1. Scope
Bobby Car Wash is a user-interface prototype. It does not currently collect, store or transmit personal data: there is no account system, no analytics pipeline and no backend. The sections below describe the intended future handling.
2. Location
Discovery would default to an approximate area derived from a coarse IP lookup — country and city level only. Precise device location would only ever be used after an explicit browser permission prompt, and only for the current session's distance sorting.
3. Visitor data
A signed-in visitor account would store an email address, display name, saved studios, recently viewed studios and preference settings such as preferred country and notification choices.
4. Owner data
A business account would store contact details, company and branch information, published listing content, plan status and placement history. Business content is published deliberately and is public.
5. Third-party rating summaries
Aggregate rating figures from third-party sources would be displayed as summary values only. Internal source identifiers would never be shown publicly.
6. Cookies
Only functional storage would be used for sign-in sessions and interface preferences. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are planned.
7. Your choices
Once accounts exist, visitors and owners would be able to review, export and delete their data, and adjust notification and location preferences from the account area.
